You will need:
700ml strained tomatoes
156 ml tomato paste
3 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1/2 cup water
3 medjool dates
1 & 3/4 tsp onion powder
1 & 3/4 tsp garlic powder
1 & 3/4 tsp himalayan salt
pinch of clove
pinch of cinnamon
To make:
Begin by placing all ingredients in a medium size sauce pan over medium heat. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.
Once bubbling, reduce heat to low and let simmer for 15 minutes.
Transfer the ketchup into a blender, and combine until smooth ~1 minute
Now that its smooth, pour ketchup back into the sauce pan, and simmer for an additional 15 minutes.
Transfer to a large jar and leave to set to room temperature. Once ready, seal the jar and place in the fridge.
