You will need:
1 cup almond flour
10 tbsp cassava flour
1/2 tsp salt
3 tbsp melted coconut oil
2 tbsp filtered water
1/2 tbsp butter (for greasing pan)
muffin tray ~ 12
Preheat oven to 350F.
Combine dry ingredients in a medium bowl and mix well.
Add wet ingredients and stir to combine. The dough will be a little crumbly. If it requires more water, add by tsp until its moldable.
Prepare muffin try by greasing each mold with butter. Ensure its well covered so the tarts dont stick.
Divide dough into 12 balls and press mixture firmly into muffin cups, pushing dough up the sides.
Bake for 8-10 minutes or until edges are brown.
* This crust works well for both sweet & savoury dishes. You can make this recipe sweeter by adding granular sugar.
* Store in sealed container in fridge or freeze for up to 3 months.
