You will need:
18-20 wings
1/2 cup coconut oil
Honey Garlic & Sesame dressing:
1/4 cup coconut aminos
1 tsp sesame oil
2 minced garlic cloves
1/2 tsp fresh grated ginger
1 tbsp honey
Optional toppings:
cilantro
crispy shallots
sesame seeds
To make:
Over medium-high, heat a cast iron pan. Preheat your oven to 400 F.
Wash and dry your chicken wings. Don't skip this step. This will help get them extra crispy.
Add coconut oil to the cast iron. Once hot, carefully place chicken wings, one by one in pan. Set timer for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
Prepare the dressing. Set aside
Flip and fry the chicken wings for an additional 12-15 minutes. The key is to have them nice and dark, golden brown. Time will vary so keep a close eye.
Once crispy, drain coconut oil. Add sauce and stir to coat. Be careful cause the sauce will create hot steam!
Place in oven for 3-5 minutes.
Top with fresh cilantro, crispy shallots & sesame seeds.
